Well I made a giant leap and bought a SlingBox.  What is a SlingBox?  Well it’s a little box you can hookup video sources to, to access anywhere over the internet.  Cable, satellite, tivo, dvd player, it doesn’t matter.  It allows to control the device and stream the video with custom resolution/bit rates.  I have used it for 1 day over my home network and today I have it streaming over the internet.  I will play with some settings and do a full product review in a week or so.  Ah, I can watch from my cell phone anywhere also.
