Hummers, scourge of the roads

Well keep those hummer drivers at bay, and be weary when you see one.

Weiner became unruly during the arrest

Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 2:58 p.m.

MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN — Marquette City Police arrested a 26 year old female Be Weiner of Marquette on the charges of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, obstruction and malicious destruction of fire or police property.

Weiner was arrested on Friday, January 16th.

Officers responded to a complaint of a stolen vehicle where Weiner was identified as the suspect.

During the course of the investigation, Weiner became unruly and started damaging property and obstructing the investigation.

Officers placed Weiner under arrest and during the arrest Weiner assaulted the officers and damaged the patrol vehicle.

Highlight clips

Some recent highlight clips from my trip to Houghton.  The first one is called, Now You Have It, Now You Don’t.  The second is a coal stoker furnace in action.  Update: My root beer FAILED worse then a snow shoveling monkey in the Sahara desert. I don’t think it was warm enough for the yeast to work.

Cold Cold Weather

Some cold zones last night at 7:30 p.m. Jan 13th 2009. It went from -4 to -16, then -26, back up to -18 and then down to -29 all within 20 minutes of driving. It settled at -20 once I got home.
