Not so funny, but still…
Combined age 157 years, wow, a 76 year old driver and a 81 year old driver get in an accident.
I would have to go with a majority of accidents in the area are from older drivers. There are alot of young but recently all I remember are old drivers. I am in favor of a physical test drive/road course every year for every driver and possible a speed limit set to your ability. It must be hard for a nascar driver to make that commute to the track, knowing a 80 year old person is trusted to drive as fast as them.
I don’t know who was more high, the guy or the lawyer coming up with the defense….
Drug case from Daily Mining Gaz.
Wallace said while there may have been marijuana in his house from other roommates, he had tried not to pay attention to it. Due to his Marfan’s syndrome, he said, he was unable to carry large weights, leaving him unable to move the lights out of his closet. And any attempt to use the lights would have swamped the house’s faulty electrical system, he said.
As for the carpet nailed over his closet door, Wallace said it was to prevent people from tampering with his things, such as his baseball card collection.
There had been no hint of trouble on his record before this, Wallace said. For example, he said, had he not been on trial that day, he’d have been able to fulfill his shift as a Salvation Army bell-ringer.
