Ebay is pulling all comments like Hitler.

Filed under: News — admin @ 4:20 am

I posted in some of ebays forums, and they pulled my comments.  Nazis are running ebay now I guess.

Here was my comment in the appropriate forum discussing it.

Ebay wants to be Amazon, not an auction site. 1 less seller , bye.
Paypal reversals, fee's, buyers scamming sellers. Promoting a problem
will fix everything.

Ebay starting to smell like crap for sellers.

Ebay has had a change at the helm with Meg Whitman leaving and Donahoe coming in. Donahoe has taken the position Ebay needs to drastically change to stay the leader in online auctions. The only problem is this dude has no clue on why ebay attracted buyers and sellers and wants to make ebay more like amazon. He is going to remove buyers feedback completely,?? As having had I don’t know 5 different power seller accounts, the problem starts with buyers on ebay. This relates all the way back to when Ebay bought paypal. Since then the amount of transactions reversed has grown like mad. Most small/medium sellers are stopping listing on ebay, since they start taking 200-300 dings from paypal with nothing they can do.

I can rant and rave for days with examples but I will break down the problem like this,

Ebay was made popular since it was an auction, as-is, describe items to the best of your ability, get stuff cheap. That is what made Ebay great, and why most people use it. Ebay is now a store, with a 100% return policy with paypal for upto 60 days after buying something. And when I say return, the buyer can return anything for whatever reason and nobody even checks the reason. Ebay made these change without telling sellers. It has cost sellers a lot of money. Your auction terms mean less then nothing, since it is no longer an auction but a retail store with a bid system.

I will be supporting Seller Boycott–Feb 18-25–NO LISTINGS!

Ebay can go and be a Amazon wann-a-be selling dvds and books, who even buys those things anymore? This seller is looking for a new auction site.
