But anyways, I will be getting a new rod and reel in the next week. Something big enough for jigging at the Rock but still usable inland lakes for walleyes and pike. 7′ medium or heavy action ugly stick, cant go wrong with one of those in my price range. I could spend some loot on G Loomis, but meh, I’m scared of water, makes me green.
Well it’s 4:46 a.m. the day after Christmas. All the loot is stowed safely at home under my artificial tree. Only one more family event planned, a picture in about 12 hours, blue shirt and a shower are in order. Back to the grind stone, I fear work will progress at a feverish rate until the snow melts now. No time for play, though I hope to do some ice fishing before New Year. So if no one else was at home, who took the picture below?
