New projects old projects
Well I deiced to grab some urls for new projects I have.
Project 1: 200Years.com
Details on this project are under wraps until Lightning-Software gets it running.
Project 2: RunBioDiesel.net
This web page is a wikipedia style page, that I will be filling up with all the information that I can about bio-diesel. It can be edited just like wikipedia so once I get enough content, and traffic other people involved with bio-diesel will help me start keeping the information current. I am going to concentrate on the economics behind it, how much, how long, FAQ and anything else useful I find out about it.
Project 3: Snowmobile suspension(s)
I am targeting the snowmobile suspension market with some online marketing. I hope to capture top spot in google for the term “snowmobile suspensions”. If I can come close and pull in some traffic, there’s a certain local company that I will try to get a drop ship dealer account going with them. It takes maybe 3-4 months to see if my marketing efforts land me the top spot. Since the local company has some back orders right now, it should work out nice for the timing if I succeed.
Project 4: ChassellBeach.com
This will be the webcam page for ChassellBeach if it gets purchased and installed. It will be a local tourist portal for Chassell and hopefully some advertisers from the area will cover the bandwidth costs of running a camera. I haven’t started the design for this yet, so just some holder info and pictures got setup.
Older projects that will get some revisiting.
RTGuns.com has had it’s first natural signup, a gun dealer from Texas. I will be contacting them, to make sure they have there correct account login/password to add some inventory and activate there free account if it isn’t already. RTGuns got going in the spring, we built a point of sale importer for Freeman’s Firearms and added some guns for RK’s Guns and Pawn. The project has just been sitting, aging in the serps, getting some traffic, but now some more time is going to get put into it. Without doing much with the project, RK has received 3 email leads from the website, not sure if any sales have gone through from them. The main problem I see with the project is, gun listings need pictures, and the more pictures the better, but for some reason RK and Freeman don’t want to put in the time to update listings and put in pictures. Hopefully once I get some more traffic I can find some dealers that see the potential and work with there listings.
Google did something strange with one of my websites and I got a whole bunch of traffic in the last 15 days, but now another changed wiped out all the traffic. I thank google, the traffic earned me $50, it will cover my hosting costs for all of my websites for a month. I will try to mix up some things so google re-visits my web page and hopefully I can get some of that traffic back.
I will be on the lookup for a nice design and url for All Seasons Construction’s website, but I don’t know if these guys will have the time to build some good content for the site. Might be a real hands on project, but even if there is 1 new home lead that gets built, the website should cement itself into there marketing budget permanently.
