I ran to MQt with Amy Carly and Rob. I was really disappointed at the selection of lake trout gear at gander mountain. Wendy’s was alright, the baconator burger really didn’t have much bacon on it. I got a phone call at 4:20 a.m. trying to fill the boat going to Stannard rock, but couldn’t because of the Mqt trip. I would have liked to go, great day for fishing.
Captain said calm all the way out and back, limited out the boat and took home some 14lbs lakers. I have to buy some jigging setups when I stop by Cabela’s in a week and a half, hopefully they will have 1-3oz jig heads, gander only had up to 1 oz.
Grady White is getting ready for it’s maiden voyage to the Rock, my seat on the boat was given away to a much balder man. I will wait until the 19′ grady white is proven sea worthy. Should be a fun time as long as they can get on top of some fish. I had a blast going out to Stannard Rock earlier this year. It’s a little pricey to get out there, fuel is expensive.
I have some nice offers on the rx7 this time around on ebay, auction ends saturday at noon but I might take the latest offer someone sent me. I have to make up my mind later today.
Month 2 report went out to a marketing client of mine, I have improved there adwords marketing by +30%, they should be pretty happy since I don’t charge nearly enough.
I have 3 web logo contests running on the DigitalPoint forums. The first one ended and had some real good results. The second and third ones are ongoing, so far not the most professional looking results. Take a look and let me know what you think of the logos that came in. I have been working a lot in the past week and developed this logo for a client, pls rate it or comment on how it could be better.
Heading to SNB dropping of resumes for Trust Department position on Monday.
Well they will be holding the position open until mid-August. Hopefully I will get a call back or interview but it might not be for awhile. Updated my resume on my blog, the wsiwyg editor is messing with the tabling of it, so it’s not lining up properly. I will redo it with w3c standards soon.
2 full hard drive reformats and windows xp reinstalls. I should be cooking now, new processor, motherboard and video card. I have a Intel E4300 core 2 duo, Gigabyte 965P-DS3 motherboard, Geforce 7600GT video card. I am only running 512 mb of DDR2 ram, I have 2- 36gb 10000rpm Western Digital Hard Drives setup in raid 0 as 1 76gb drive, 1 western digital 7200 160gb data storage drive. Powering the box is an Enermax Noisetaker EG495AX. Installation went quick and I have all my programs installed, maybe 4.5 hours total.
This setup should let me overclock big time, with some new ram of course. I have a stock cooler on the core 2 duo, if it gets warm I have a full Swiftech water cooling system I will install. Well off ot grab some 3dmark scores. I will update when I am done.
